The Michael Nolan Vocal Studio is a vocal/singing studio that prides itself of the quality of signers it produces. However, it measures its successes not only on the performances students give, the awards they receive, the opportunities presented to them, or how loud the applause but on the confidence built and the fun had along the way.
Teach In Harmony
With 10 years of vocal teaching experience privately, in high schools, primary schools and children’s theatre organisations Michael Nolan has quickly developed a prestigious reputation in Newcastle and the Hunter for getting the most from singers no matter what level of experience they possess.
With students ranging from 8 to 50 his teaching methods are modern and pliable making lessons fun for anyone who wants to learn.
Supporting the Community
Michael has been presented a NSW Government Community Service Award, nominated as Young Business Person of the Year (Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards) and in 2019 has been named a nominee for Citizen of the Year (Lake Macquarie City Councils Australia Day Awards).
He has been patron of Young People’s Theatre Inc, is currently a serving committee member of ASPIRE (Performing Arts Program) and is an active member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS), The Voice Foundation, is a Fellow with the Royal Society of the Arts (UK).
He has been nominated for City of Newcastle Drama Awards and Directed over 12 productions. Michael is incredibly respected in his field.
